The Sequence on the Day
We open by mapping the route, putting down protection, and shielding each rail and run of wall before the very first lean. Uprights stay vertical, anchored to the skid. Grands get the legs and pedal assembly detached and padded, the body laid onto a quilted plank, then rolled out on one edge under braces. An icy porch or a gravel-pitched drive means salt and clearing on both the path and the ramp before anybody hoists, because a single misstep beneath that mass is precisely the wreck the whole procedure rules out. Loft and high-rise jobs get the freight elevator reserved so the keyboard skips the stairs entirely.
