Privacy Policy
The Short Version
Quoting and completing a move takes only a few basics from you, who you are, how to reach you, and the two addresses involved. None of that is ever sold. A small set of outside vendors touch it strictly because the job and the business cannot run otherwise; we guard it with reasonable care, and one phone request wipes it clean.
Who We Are
On 3 Moving (“On 3 Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), owned by Terrence Vaughn and operating since 2013, runs its moving and storage work out of High Point, North Carolina. Everything below lays out what this website gathers, what we collect while serving households across High Point and the wider Piedmont Triad, and how all of it is handled.
What You Give Us Directly
Requesting a price, reserving a day, arranging storage, or simply reaching out means handing over the essentials up front: who you are, a phone, an email; both the origin and destination addresses; the dates that work for you; and an itemized sense of what is being moved or stored. If payment enters the picture, a secure outside processor handles it, and any notes or messages you add travel along with the rest.
What We Collect Automatically
Quietly, in the background, browsing here generates a light technical footprint, your connecting IP, the browser and device you are on, the pages viewed, and when the visit happened, gathered through cookies and similar tools. That footprint keeps the site running and lets us see the paths visitors take across it.
How We Use It
Your information lets us build and deliver a quote, schedule and run the move, manage any storage arrangement, produce paperwork such as certificates of insurance, take payment and send receipts, update you on progress and work through claims, and stay compliant with what our NCUC authority and our US DOT and MC numbers require. That same information drives ongoing improvement of both the website and the service. Anything we send relates to your job; we reach out about other matters only when you have asked us to.
When We Share It
Selling your personal information is something we will never do, under any circumstance. It passes to an outside party only where that party performs a task for us, the movers and office staff we employ, payment processors, scheduling platforms, insurers, and the people who service our technology, and never beyond what each strictly needs. Otherwise, disclosure happens only when law, a court, or a government authority demands it, or when no other path exists to protect our rights, our customers, or our people.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools let this site remember your preferences and count how many people visit. You are free to set your browser to refuse them or warn you before each one, just keep in mind that turning them off may leave some features working less smoothly.
How We Keep It Secure and How Long It Stays on File
Sensible safeguards stand between your information and any loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, a mix of administrative, technical, and physical measures. Since no method of transmission or storage is ever truly foolproof, we cannot claim perfect security. We keep what you give us only as long as serving you, meeting legal and tax duties, and resolving any possible dispute genuinely require.
Your Choices
You have the right to ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to step away from any non-essential messaging whenever you like. Send a request like that to the office and we will act on it about as fast as we reasonably can.
Children
This site and what we offer are built for adults; gathering information from anyone under 18 is never something we do knowingly. Think a minor sent us something? Let us know and it gets deleted.
Changes to This Policy
From time to time this Privacy Policy may change. Each revision takes effect the moment it lands on this page, which makes an occasional look back here worthwhile.
